My Honest ConvertBox Review In 2022

If you're attempting to determine whether or not to acquire Convertbox and want to make sure you've crossed all of your t's and dotted all of your i's, you've come to the perfect place.

Why should you read and believe my assessment?

For starters, I've been in the online industry for 7 years, which gives me enough experience to confidently claim that I'm an expert at using and testing lead-generating tools and other technologies required to run a successful online business.

Two, I've prepared this ConvertBox Review based on my year of experience using Convertbox (started using the software in May 2020).

Finally, this article has been updated for the year 2021. Convertbox has evolved much, and you won't gain much insight from a review written months or years ago, which seems to be the case with the majority of Convertbox evaluations nowadays.

Keep in mind that Convertbox is presently providing its software for $495 for a one-time payment. That means you'll have lifetime access to Convertbox, including all future feature upgrades.

Let's get this party started!

What Is Convertbox?

Convertbox is an all-in-one messaging, segmentation, and lead generation solution. Convertbox can be used as an optin form to collect client information and expand your list, as well as for on-site targeting and retargeting with targeted offers.

Convertbox is a SaaS-based solution that may also be installed as a WordPress plugin.

Before I Had Convertbox

Since I first started doing business online, lead generation tools have come a long way.

Everyone was saying back then that "content is king," which was true because you required content to get people to visit your website. I knew how to write content and had spent a significant amount of time doing it, but I had no idea what to do with all of the traffic I was receiving.

Although lead generation technologies were becoming more popular, they required expertise to operate.

Experts could only execute tasks like developing opt-in forms and funnels, which are now pretty much DIY thanks to technologies like Convertbox.

Not to mention, all of those tools were prohibitively expensive, limiting their use to high-profile marketers and agencies.

Thankfully, WordPress has been causing quite a stir online, with developers producing a plethora of plugins for the open-source CMS (WordPress).

Thrive Themes was one of such plugins; I used it and was pleased to see the number of leads grow month after month. Despite my satisfaction with Thrive Themes, I continued my search for a successor. To push my lead generation to the next level, I needed a tool.

Convertbox: Who Is It For?

Convertbox is a fantastic tool, but it isn't suitable for everyone. The fact that it is a SaaS, for example, means that it will limit the level of customisation you may access, among other things. If you fall into one of the following categories, Convertbox will be most beneficial to you:

Bloggers and new solopreneurs

Owners of ecommerce sites and course creators

Convertbox: Who Is It Not For

If you fall into one of the following categories, Convertbox is not for you:

Digital marketing firms. For the most part, Convertbox's customising options will suffice. They are, in fact, more than adequate. Others, on the other hand, may require far more than what is available in the page editor. Change the size or layout of the Convertbox, for example.

Those looking for a free account. Convertbox is free for life, but only after you pay $495 for a one-time subscription.

4 Things Business Owners Need To Know Before Buying Convertbox

#1. A once-in-a-lifetime deal is coming to an end.

There's no better time to buy Convertbox than now, because the software is presently on sale: spend $590 for the Pro account and get lifetime access to Convertbox.

Compare this to spending $1188 per year ($99 per month), not to mention the peace of mind that comes with not having to worry about lead generation subscriptions anymore.

If you have a website or are in the process of creating one, keep in mind that the lifetime bargain will expire in late 2021, and this ordinary monthly billing will take its place.

#2. It Is Not A Scam: The Lifetime Fee Is Seed Money.

If you're hesitant about this instrument, I understand. I mean, $590 for the rest of your life screams "SCAM." It isn't, however, a ruse. I've been using Convertbox for about a year and have had fantastic results.

Because the money raised from early sales will be used as seed money, it's being sold for such a low one-time price. Instead of seeking money in exchange for equity, the Convertbox founders are offering you access to the programme in exchange for a small donation that will help them continue to develop it.

Convertbox also has all of the hallmarks of a genuine piece of software: genuine user evaluations, genuine ownership by folks with a respectable track record in the software/online sector.

#3. It has the same features as Thrive Leads and Optin Monster, but without the monthly fees.

Convertbox can do everything Thrive Leads and Optin Monster can, with the added benefit of no monthly fees.

Because Convertbox is a newcomer to the market, it was built to perform everything its predecessors could do, but with the added benefit of being lighter and more nimble: generating forms, editing, integrating, A/B testing, and defining rules and conditions all take much less time and effort.

#4. It's new, so there are some bugs, but they won't last long.

Convertbox is no exception to the rule that new software has flaws. Convertbox may test more iterations of the programme to eliminate faults because they are raising seed money by providing early subscribers a one-time lifetime price.

While we're on the subject of things you should know before buying Convertbox, here's one of my current pet peeves:

Only individual Convertboxes' performance can be viewed. You won't be able to see how a given page in a Convertbox performed. This irritates me, but it's not a deal-breaker because Convertbox's reports are still adequate for A/B testing and optimising future campaigns.

Convertbox is still a work in progress, so we're likely to see this issue rectified in future releases now that I've brought it up with their engineers.

ConvertBox Features

So, if you ever wrote a post about how to keep your Pitbull from drowning, you can display your Pitbull swimming vests to everybody who visits that page.

If the client has already visited the Pitbull Drowning blog (Condition), then don't show the visitor this Convertbox (Action).

This efficiently eliminates anyone who isn't interested in Pitbulls or their dog drowning, while also making the offer highly personalised for everyone else who sees it

Lead Capture Forms

Convertbox is a lead generation software. As a result, most (if not all) Convertbox templates include a form element. When dealing with consumers that are in the advanced phases of purchasing, you can update or even remove form fields.

Convertbox's page editor gives you a variety of choices for modifying your forms so that they effortlessly transfer your consumers from one conversion phase to the next.

These options can be found in the form settings' actions and integrations sections.

You may also link your lead capture forms to your CRM or autoresponder, allowing all of your emails to be automatically fed into those systems. This ensures that all of your campaigns are in sync, as well as aligning all teams that use the CRM. You can create rules that direct users to any CRM or autoresponder integrations that you've already built up using your Convertbox forms.

Countdown Timers

Countdown timers are available in Convertbox. Using a timer in your Convertbox to increase conversions is a terrific idea.

This is a useful feature, especially if you want to sell something, because clocks generate a sense of urgency, which encourages visitors to buy before the timer runs out.

The countdown timer should not be confused with the display timer in the frequency settings.

The display timer controls the point at when a Convertbox will appear, whereas the countdown timer prompts a transaction by increasing urgency.

After 2 minutes of idleness, for example.

As a result, the display timer serves as an attention grabber as well as a tool for boosting user experience.

Customers shouldn't see convertboxes too often or before they've had an opportunity to look at material connected to your offer. A display timer is used to control such experiences.

Multi-step Funnels

Convertbox offers a really useful feature that not only saves time when creating several convertboxes for the same campaign or objective, but also binds your campaigns together to increase relevancy, improve user experience, and improve lead generation tracking.

Let me give you an example of what I'm talking about:

Consider the following scenario: you want to create leads, target potential customers, and retarget cart abandoners.

These are only three objectives, but when you consider that each customer's journey is unique, the process can become quite intricate.

Multi-step funnels are useful in this situation:

They allow you to start at the top (with a new customer) and build a funnel that segments customers and meets all of their demands until they exit.

You will lose a lot of clients if you don't have a funnel since you won't be able to move them via a unified system that "sees" where they are and what they want.

ConvertBox Pricing

I already explained that Convertbox is available for a one-time $495 lifetime fee. Here's what you'll get for your money with Convertbox:

  • You will never have to pay for software again.

  • Personalize offers depending on information from your CRM or website.

  • Make a list of contacts.

  • In your editor, you may create surveys, tag and segment visitors, and run A/B tests.

  • Keep track of data and tweak your campaigns.

  • Convertboxes can be customised using a simple drag-and-drop editor.

  • You can also upgrade to the Pro plan for an extra $95. The pro plan gives you 500,000 views instead of the 250,000 that the regular plan gives you. Instead of 10, you can utilise Convertbox on 50 websites.

Because you don't have to compare and contrast pricing tiers, this pricing structure is simple. You just have one tier, which allows you to use all of the features. Furthermore, you will have piece of mind because you will not be scrambling to meet subscription deadlines.
